<title>Only a server merger prevented this from being our 3rd server first in Underfoot</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=138</link>
<description>

Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger... it goes on that way for a while.
Eventually they throw in some mushrooms, a snake, and yes...a big mean badger.
Apparently I was the only person that thought this event was fun. Grats to everyone in LR and HoK on another win.

Apps are still open for 1 bard, ranger, berserker. Get with Tuil for info. Our App queue is filling up quick.
P.S. Frobus told me he loves this event too... even more than Mindshear.

<description>

Server Firsts that is.
Grats to all our LR and HoK folks on a gritty win, this raid took a ton of work (and deaths) to get down.

We're still looking for Apps.

Open App Classes: Well Developed Cleric, Shaman, Bard, Wizard, Necro, Ranger, Berserker. Cyber up Mirracle for info.

<title>We finally got tired of that pic of Flippy on our front page...</title>

The Beast falls at the hands of Loyal Rebellion and Hand of Ka!
 It's a beautiful thing when people bring their A game. Emotes were followed, adds were dealt with, everyone did their job.(Well, it's either that... or we discovered that the key to the Beast is to sacrifice an app before each attempt)

If you're reading this and just happen to be thinking &quot;Hey! I want to be sacrificed to the Beast!&quot; then you're in luck. We are currently recruiting select classes. Shoot a tell over to Mirracle for details on how to start the sacrifice process.

Open App Classes: Cleric, Shaman, Bard, Wizard, Necro, Ranger, SK, Pally, Berserker, Berserker, Berserker, Berserker... Did I mention Berserker?

<title>Fippy fall down and go boom...I think he hit his head on our server first!</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=135</link>
<description>
 Loyal Rebellion is doing some recruiting. Current class openings include Bard, Ranger, Shadow knight, Wizard, Berserker. Please get with Mirracle if you are interested.
Well I must say that Underfoot so far has been as advertized. I don't remember wiping that many times since Gates of Discord. But we persevered and that run ended tonight with his thorough ass-kicking.

Something new this expansion at Loyal Rebellion...we are having a trivia contest!!!!
An expansion is completed when:
a) ALL mobs are dead
b) Only the easy mobs are killed
c) What are mobs??

On a serious note, I look forward to seeing what the rest of the expansion has to offer. It's sure nice to have to earn the wins for a change! Until next time...

<title>Merry Christmas from Loyal Rebellion</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=134</link>
<description>Well, its that time of year, spending time with family, eggnog, Christmas Spirit, shopping, new expansion...LR wishes you all a Merry Christmas!

If you are a bard, shaman, ranger, rogue, wizard, or berserker, know how to read a compass, can string two sentences together in a row, and can meet a 4 day raid schedule, send Mirracle, Warriorgod or Kochanut a tell. We might have a home for you, just in time for the New Year.

Oh yea, Happy New Year too, everyone!

Next time I may include a picure!</description>

<title>Farm mode, engaged</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=130</link>
<description>
Just wanted to drop a late summer update for our loyal Rebel Trekkies~ We're still kicking ass and taking names. We've done every bit of SoD content, hard-mode, easy-mode, backwards and forwards. WTF-ever way it can be done, we've done it.

We have full raids all 4 nights, so we're really not looking for anything. However, if a superstar chanter would happen by, we'd consider them. If you have to ask what is superstar status, it's probably not you~ :-D

Dear Sony,
You really suck for inventing hard-mode (ie, cheap ass excuse for new content). You alienate 18 people each event and make my life hell. I hate you very much. Thanks for your time.
Kiss my ass,
Meethos

<title>Lord Brekt has left the building and Loyal Rebellion wins EQ!</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=129</link>
<description>
It has been three and a half years of blood sweat and tears, but Loyal Rebellion has finally finished Everquest in the expansion in which it was released. We also did it with several months before the next expansion, so we will have plenty of time to farm it inside and out. We also did it on our own terms. We kept things relaxed and never lost focus on what was really important, the friendships we've gained along the way. We also did it raiding about 12 hours a week~

A special thanks goes out to each and every one of our members, from the guild officers right down to every last member. We couldn't have accomplished so much so fast, without each and every one of you. The lockouts below say it all. Well done!

I think overall it was a good expansion. I think it was definitely pretty easy with the level increase and the massive boost it gave to overall player power. I did think that some of the events were certainly creative, however enough with the balancing events already. I wanted to quit EQ and commit suicide all due to a fun event called Balreth. /slit wrists
Ah, what the hell, a couple more gripes now that it is late and I am grumpy! Bug your local devs and JUST SAY NO to 35 varying types of armor. Also, the rune system, it sucks...it sucks bad. Make all rank 3 spells available via raid boss kills. Enough with the 2 crappy runes per mob. Either that or put the good spells up top and the useless ones on the bottom where they belong, since they will be in the back of the spellbook anyway collecting dust.
Oh yeah, we do have a few limited openings left for a couple priests and some caster DPS! Until next time...

<title>Overlord Muram...</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=128</link>
<description>
You are the weakest link...goodbye! Weak and getting weaker it seems. This time, no trash and another easy event! That leaves us with only one target left in the zone, and expansion. Below you can see the happy winners.

We were hoping this was going to be our final hopepage update for a while. And by we, of course I meant me! It is tiring work fighting mobs of Norrath and then having to update the homepage.
We did move on last night to the last event. I am almost ashamed we didn't beat it actually. The fight seemed so easy, I had to wonder if he was being paid to throw the fight. Well, we flubbed at 3% and had to call it a night. I guarantee you the next time we face him, he won't be in the same position as below...

...like Rasper shoved a dagger up...well, nevermind. You will see him lying down as we steal his toys and claim our ranks among the EQ elites, so stay tuned!

<title>Down to two!</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=127</link>
<description>
Event 5 was as easy as anticipated. However, I must say, I really really really really LOVED the 2 hour trash clear before the 10 minute fight. Mobs that do 32k AE's that come linked in 2 to 4 to a pull are a lovely touch too~.
But once we got past that mess...

So that leaves us with two mobs left to clear the Tower and then the farm is on for several months. If you'd like to be part of a team that works together and hates drama, check out the open apps /cough clerics and DPS.

<title>No soup for you...NEXT!</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=126</link>
<description>
The events are getting easier, however the trash seems to be getting harder. The trash before event 4 wasn't so bad, and the event itself is a joke...as you can see below. That makes 4 down and just 3 to go!

I must say, the trash before event 5 was a lot of fun...umm no...we really enjoyed, hmm, no...OMFG JFC WTF FFS?!?!
I must say, we haven't wiped that fast in a really long time. Go go excessive amounts of ass-thrashing trash! We cleared half or more of the trash before we decided to just clear it all and kick event 5's ass tomorrow night~

<title>Stasis is dead!</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=125</link>
<description>
The Stasis room proved to be of little challenge to our mighty band of Rebels. That makes 3 Tower events down in a week's time. If the events keep getting easier, we ought to be done in no time!

We still have some spots open for another good cleric and some caster DPS, like some wizards and necros and stuff. Don't wait too long!

<title>Another day, another update!</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=124</link>
<description>
It only took a look the other night, and then a couple runs to finetune the strat tonight, and the event went down easier than catching Dbean AFK at any given moment.

We also got a couple good looks at the end of event 3. Revenge shall soon be ours!
It's only been like 2 days, so scroll down for open apps~

<title>Mindblight, meet Loyal Rebellion!</title>
<link>http://www.loyalrebellion.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=123</link>
<description>
First off, the good news.
Loyal Rebellion is recruiting new members! If you're not a monk, knight or warrior, we may have a happy home for you. Make sure to have lots of AA's and experience.

Now we can report the really good news. Loyal Rebellion has started our journey into the Citadel and killed Mindblight. We told him we didn't want a violent conflict and that we'd prefer to go right to the top. Well, he broke out the operations manual and started mumbling on about chain of command or some such BS. Lets just say, he's been removed from the chain...

Stay tuned in for more tower kills real soon. If you'd like to be part of a team that doesn't raid 45 hours a week, but accomplishes the same things as the guilds that do, drop in an app!
